The Eastern Counties League has expanded. Although Newmarket Town have left to join the United Counties League and Wisbech Town have been accepted into the Midland League, the election of Crittall Athletic, Eynesbury Rovers and Stowmarket will bring the number up to 19 clubs.

Preliminary reports indicate that our "A" Team will find Eastern Counties League soccer of a higher standard than ever during the coming season. New members Stowmarket, Crittall Athletic and Eynesbury Rovers are all up-and-coming clubs who view their entry into the League as an honour.
